What matters to our clients matters to us. We believe business owners make their best decisions when they have honest, transparent information in front of them and that alignment of interests shapes everything we do at Uscita Solutions.
In looking for a framework to support that, we found John Warrillow’s Value Builder System™. It was an easy fit. We were early adopters: Paul became the first European Certified Value Builder™ Coach in 2014, with Alex qualifying a year later.
The Value Builder System™ is a statistically proven methodology for increasing the value of a company, and lets us benchmark any business against real sales data from over 80,000 companies worldwide. Both we and our clients find that invaluable in reaching their goals.
Alex Dodgshon

I’ve had an eclectic career spanning retail banking, guidebook research, mystery shopping and bookkeeper, before co-founding Uscita Solutions with Paul. Each role taught me something I still draw on today, and I qualified as a Certified Value Builder™ Coach in 2015.
Nowadays, my time is mostly spent on the early stages of exit planning with clients, and on outbound marketing for the sales we handle via Business Partnership.
Away from work, I volunteer with a project that redirects surplus food to parts of the community that need it most, and I’m Treasurer at a local not-for-profit.
Paul Dodgshon
Co-founder, Certified Value Builder™ Coach, ACIB
My time at HSBC took me through Merseyside, London and Manchester, in roles spanning the Credit & Risk team and the Corporate team. From there I became Finance Director, helping grow a start-up to £10m in turnover within four years.
I bring that experience directly into the exit strategy work we do at Uscita, and became the first Certified Value Builder™ Coach in Europe in 2014.
Outside of work, I combine a passion for golf with business networking, and I’m a regular at fundraising events in our village, reliably burning the baked beans at the annual Big Boys Breakfast.
